We each view the world through some lens based on our experiences and beliefs. The lenses we use to view the world shape our perceptions of it. While they allow us to focus on certain details, they also inhibit other aspects causing us to miss important pieces of information. Not all lenses are equal. While some lenses help us see more clearly and objectively, other lenses distort and warp reality. If we wish to see the world clearly, we must examine the lenses through which we are perceiving it.
