Out of the blue, my 23-year-old daughter sent me a photo today with the caption "I had some posters made." "Little Stink" marches to the beat of her own drummer.  Quit homeschool HS at 16 to work, hired by a major corporation at 18, worked full time through the entire pandemic, has an investment portfolio rather than a college loan, a career she loves, and a stable love relationship. These rules are working for her.  As a parent, I'm so supremely grateful for JBP's writing, and for the positive influence he is having a this generation of young people - both men and women.  I look at these custom crafted posters that she made for herself... and the mental image that comes up for me is ripples spreading out across a lake from a rock thrown in to it.  This is a "diploma" to be proud of.  Gives me hope for the future.

My little baby daughter turns half today! So in honour of her and the beauty she has brought into our lives, I check in with my own father for a debrief on how it’s all been. Parenthood has many challenges, but far more blessings, and the gift keeps on growing.
