    In the first Post on As Nature Made Him, we noted that ‘No matter how badly the whole thing ends, none of the zealots admits any error.’

     

    The dates here, concerning the Reimer case, extend from the 1960’s to the turn of the century.

     

    But it gets very interesting if we compare those to some dates in Brunskell-Evans’ Inventing Transgender Children.

     

    By 1998, piles of data that contradicted Money’s claims were coming to light.

     

    But by 2005, groups like ‘GIRES’ and ‘Mermaids’ were already major influences on the U.K.’s National Health Service.

     

    That is, the zealots didn’t even break stride.
