Most of us know our Sun sign in astrology. The Sun is the great illuminator and everything evolves around the Sun, even us (the Earth). But not many know their house position of Pluto (I recommend Porphyry house system if you want to check your own)
Pluto the furthest planet from the Sun (whether dwarf or not, ruling power it has a very powerful influence), moves so slowly (248 year orbit) that the sign position is generational. However the house position that is determined by the earths rotation, measured by the eastern (AC) and western (DC) horizon, the middle of the sky above (MC) and the middle of the sky below (IC), with each space between divided in 3 (makes 12 houses) that each has a similar quality to the sign that comes in the same order (the first house has a quality similar to Aries the first sign, the second house has a quality similar to Taurus the second sign and so on). This means that the house position of any planet, changes through all 12 archetypes (houses) in 24 hours (one rotation of the earth).
The Pluto house position in a chart is often less conscious, but more powerful than the sign position of the Sun. For example Jordan Peterson has the Sun in Gemini, the sign that rules speech and communication, and he sure has a way with words and talks a lot, but his Pluto is in the 5th house. The house that is equivalent to Leo the 5th sign, and when he shot to fame (ruled by Leo) he was described by the Observer not as a talker or communicator (Gemini) but as 'the closest thing academia has to a Rock Star'. Leo rules rock stars, stage life, theatre, play, performing, being in the spotlight (Leo is ruled by the Sun, the biggest spotlight of all). Even if Jordan is toned down a bit by being from the Pluto in Virgo generation- (Virgo is the 6th sign ruling setting in order, preparation, perfection, worry, and criticism -set your house in perfect order before you criticise the world ) -he is a natural born rockstar.
The house position of Pluto is individual, and the sign position of Pluto is generational. The Pluto in Leo generation (the generation before Jordan) was the generation of rockstars. Though everyone has wanted to be a rockstar ever since that generation, not one even compares to the many from the Pluto in Leo generation.
The Pluto in Virgo generation had a quite different feel than the Lions, more of a 'Like a virgin ooh!' blood splattered brides, worry, criticism, persecutions, and some great analytical (all Virgo) minds:
As another example, JK Rowling from the Pluto in Virgo generation, has the Sun in Leo and is surely a creative superstar (Leo rules creativity), but is she is a 7th house Pluto. She even has the colours of the sky when Venus Evening Star ruler of Libra the 7th sign (7th house=7th sign) appears right after sunset. She shows great diplomacy (7th house=Libra=diplomacy ) in dealing with the witch-hunt (Virgo=persecution=witchhunt) she has been subjugated to for standing up for women (7th house=Libra=women)
Kellie-Jay Keen and JP Sears are both from the Pluto in Libra generation that again has a very different feel than the Pluto in Virgo generation. Here we see diplomatic=Libra women and men who are interested in fairness=Libra, fairness for women=Libra, and of course the supermodels=beauty=Libra and the Notebook=ideal relationship=Libra.
Kellie-Jay Keen has the Sun in Gemini the 3rd sign and she has Pluto in the 1st house that is equivalent to the archetype of Aries (the 1st sign). JP Sears has the Sun in Aries, and Pluto in the 3rd house that is equivalent to the archetype of Gemini (the 3rd sign).
So they are the same archetype combination of Pluto and Sun, just reversed.
This provides an opportunity to look at the difference of the manifestation of the Sun sign versus the Pluto house position in the life of an individual.
Aries/1st house rules mornings, lambs, spring equinox, rising, resurrection, warriors, confrontation, sparks, explosions, blood, red, territorial instinct, and standing up straight with our shoulders back.

Gemini/3rd house rules words, speech, language, information, news, communication, messages, walking, talking, alikeness (twins-two of the same), mimicking. The last Pluto in Gemini generation were the ones that had to find ways to communicate to the audience without words in the silent movies, and the type of dance was tap dancing (walking and mimicking while dancing):
JP Sears with the Sun in Aries has red hair and skin, is very muscular and often shows off (Sun) his masculine (Aries) body. "Hello my fellow freedom fighters" .. He calls his audience 'fellow freedom fighters' (fighter=Aries). One may say that Aries ruling independence also rules 'freedom'.
'Fellow' would be ruled by Libra (the other opposite the self) or Gemini (alikeness, two of the same).
And underlying all the Aries macho is the 3rd house Pluto equivalent to Gemini the 3rd sign and ruler of speech. He fights (Aries archetype, Sun sign) for free speech (Gemini archetype, Pluto house position), and has made a social platform, Zion, to ensure that there is somewhere to communicate (Gemini) without censorship. It was when he got censored for making his ultra spiritual jokes (speech), that the warrior in him was ignited. Gemini rules words and speech, communication and pairs. The two sides of the coin. JP Sears often plays out two different characters that argue with each other in his videos.
Kellie-Jay Keen has the Sun in Gemini (words/speech) and got famous in 2018, when she paid to put up a billboard with the dictionary definition of woman on a busy street in Liverpool, that Primesight, the worlds biggest advertisement took down after two days because men had complained to them that it made them feel unsafe, so Primesight promptly took it down and issued a public apology that it should have raised a red flag in their copy department as it was so offensive. No apology has been issued by Primesight to women for saying that.
Kellie-Jay is a brilliant speaker (Sun sign Gemini). She is the founder of 'Standing for Women' an organisation that campaigns for protecting the word (Gemini) woman (Libra) to only mean adult human female.
'Standing for', is ruled by Aries who guards the territory. (stand up straight with your shoulders back). She guards the territory (Pluto 1st house) of the definition (word=Gemini Sun) woman (Pluto Libra).
There is such power behind even just her stare, that she was banned from Tik Tok for just taking a sip of her tea, while looking those surgeons in the eyes, that advertise double mastectomies to kids on Tik Tok.
While both JP Sears and Kellie-Jay Keen display a combination of the Aries and Gemini archetype in their work and skills, when looking at them together there is no doubt that Kellie-Jay would win a staring contest though JP is physically stronger. She is definitely a natural born gladiator. More so than him.
Jp Sears bigger power lays in his hilarious fake news (that are way more informative than the MSM news). News are ruled by Gemini (information) and 'fake' is also ruled by Gemini, because Gemini rules alikeness (like a copy of a famous painting would be fake, exactly because it is alike). This of course doesn't mean people with strong Gemini energy are fake. But the Gemini archetype may for example question (Gemini) things that are fake.
Kellie-Jay Keen arranges her #LetWomenSeak events where women gather to say the words they are not allowed to say online since the great erasure of women, like "women don't have penises" or "No child is born in the wrong body". Kellie-Jay gives courage to women all over the world who are afraid of speaking up in face of rape and murder threats because Kellie-Jay confronts the issue head on. She often says she thrives on opposition. Aries never backs down and dressed in red she fearlessly ends every event saying "And you know why else we're gonna win? Because I Never Lose!"
Conclusion. The house position of Pluto (ruler of depth and power) shows the archetype of the deepest underlying power of an individual, As I see it it is a way deeper and older power than the archetype of the Sun sign, though the Sun sign archetype is still seen manifested as creative skills, creations, things the individual illuminate, and personality.
Either way, they are both wonderful warriors (Aries) in the fight for free speech (Gemini).
