Environmentalism, The Collective Suffering

It's a voluntary sort of suffering or sort of self-castigation, and dangerously unreasonable as well. The self-punishment of the environmentalists range from minimal to the extreme, but as long as you do not contradicting them you wont end up in their crosshairs.

It's voluntary yet mandatory(not considering laws and taxation), it's mandatory in the sense that if you refuse to participate then you become ostracized from society and the consequences of that are far to harsh for many people.

When you engage in conversation with the people who have taken this burden upon themselves or have simply submitted to the pressure and have let the collective consensus consume them, they no longer listen, they only hear trigger words to which they've associated a prepared response.

Some people however aren't satisfied until they've burnt everything to the ground and it's no surprise that these types are so drawn to the environmentalist movement.

Rage, unhinged incomprehensive jargon and catchphrases is what I've come to associate with the environmentalists, as well as their constant need to revitalize that misplaced and animated guilt which glues their whole mascaraed together.
