Fighting Back
Every day, men are mown down by petty bureaucrats revelling in their feminist-bestowed power to crush ordinary blokes. With my correspondence bearing witness to the ongoing massacre, it’s a thrill to occasionally see someone take them on and win. This week I have two stories, both of people facing injustice, who reached out to me recently for help. One is a senior medico, working in the health bureaucracy in Queensland, who suddenly found our draconian Child Support Agency (CSA) had overnight...
Yuval Noah Harari - A Useless Hack
Yuval Noah Harari - A Useless Hack “Free will, that’s over. Free will is a dangerous myth.” – HarariIt is my free will to call Yuval Noah Harari the biggest hack and imbecile on the planet due to his biased work not being authentic, but a superfluous betrayal and mockery of humanity and God. “The sin both of men and angels, was rendered possible by the fact that God gave us free will.” – C. S. Lewis Almighty God granted free will to Adam and Eve and free will has existed ever since. Adam and...
The Living Embodiment of a Fictional Heroine
Many people are trying to determine the implications of the death of one Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, Queen of the United Kingdom and the various realms of the Commonwealth (of which, I am a member). Some think in terms of the fate of the monarchy in general. Succession and whatnot. Many ponder the implications for the future of the country(s) over which she ruled. All of these are valid considerations. But the monarchy’s relevance has been a topic of debate for decades. So, in my mind,...
20220902: How To "Man Up"
The opposite of yesterday's post ("I Told You So", when you are right), is to admit when you are wrong - to "man up". Both are lessons in humility and both can help us grow.
20220920: A Chasm Too Wide?
It seems to me that the country is splitting farther and farther apart. At some point, there's no middle ground left to come back to. I hope I'm wrong, and that maybe the November elections will bring some sense of normalcy back (even a divided government would be helpful).
Globalists Don't Believe Their Own Climate...
Scientists and news media sites, both of which are often controlled by wealthy globalists, tell us every day that CO2 levels are too high, resulting in rising temperatures that threaten life on Earth. But many of us think the entire climate change narrative is nothing more than a scam, part of the UN's 'Agenda 2030' and the World Economic Forum's 'Great Reset'. Although both claim to be working for the good of the planet and humanity, in reality they plan to radically change human society by...
What is a Conscience?
"If a man whose entire inner world is composed of contradictions were suddenly to feel all these contradictions simultaneously within himself, if he were to feel all at once that he loves everything he hates and hates everything he loves; that he lies when he tells the truth and that he tells the truth when he lies; and if he could feel the shame and horror of it all, this would be the state which is called 'conscience.A man cannot live in this state; he must either destroy contradictions or...
20220915: What Is Fair?
There is current court action going on between former President Trump and the FBI. A motion was made, and approved by the judge, to appoint a special master to review all seized material. Each side presents two choices; the judge picked one of the Trump suggestions. He's a semi-retired U.S. District judge, appointed by Reagan, who once served on the FISC (a federal court that reviews sensitive and/or classified requests for warrants and subpoenas). He appears to be eminently qualified to...

Overpopulation
OverpopulationPosted on September 9, 2022 by johnDear Friends,It seems to me, the elite are telling us, make the world better for our children… abort yours. The elite have set up a challenge for those that make it past the abortionist’s tongs. It is a gauntlet of mortal contests, before a kid can even think about marriage, let alone a family. Then their children will face the same hurdles to survival and begetting children of their own. The World Economic Forum recently iterated that they...
A Conflict of Visions
Beliefs in visions are not static. Both individuals and societies can change their visions over time. These changes may be sudden 'road to Damascus' conversions, where a particular event reorients one's whole thinking, or the change may be more like water wearing away rock, so that one vision imperceptibly disappears, to be replaced by a changing set of implicit assumptions about man and the world. This second kind of change may leave no clear record of when or how it happened, nor perhaps...
Why I Miss my Church Overseas
Size and ParticipationWe rotated homes each Sunday. We seldom had fewer than seven or eight people, and whenever we reached 25-30 members consistently, we broke into two separate groups. If you entered the home on a Sunday morning at the appointed time, you were already known by at least one other church member (the person/family you came with). In the North American context, however, I can usually slip in and out of a church gathering unnoticed, without speaking to anyone. To regularly...
20220830: When The Dam Collapses
People living down-stream from a dam feel safe that it is keeping water from washing away their property and lives - until the dam collapses. Have you ever watched some of these videos? It looks peaceful enough, then all-of-a-sudden, the thing breaks and all that water comes crashing down. I hate to say it, but we've been holding back too much water these last few years, economically, socially, and politically. I'm seeing cracks...
Because I Say So...
This morning, I stumbled across a video clip from Chris Williamson discussing a news article written in response to another video clip of a young woman who had had an epiphany while eat some pasta. Yes, this was yet another paradigm-shifting observation from the societal trenches. It seems that ‘being hot’ is no longer a subjective determination, but something that can now be self-proclaimed. Apparently, being hot is relative to your mood or ‘vibe’. Although I have not seen the video of said...

20220831: Sometimes You Can't Make This Stuff Up!
A few days ago, California announced it is banning gas-engine cars in favor of EVs (electric vehicles). Today, they asked owners of EVs not to charge their cars during a current heat wave so as to protect the strained electric grid. Do they even see a glimpse of the irony here? :-)
20220901: How To Say "I Told You So"?
I had a situation happen this week (at work) where what I predicted would happen (negatively) if we didn't do something actually happened. How do you say "I told you so" to the higher-ups who didn't listen to me without losing your job? LOL, not sure I can bite my tongue hard enough on this one... :-)

20220903: Positive Encounter
I was forced to buy a new car a few months ago (my old car died and would've cost too much to repair), and today I took it in for its first Scheduled Maintenance at the dealership's service center. It was a great experience and was actually cheaper than I expected, plus they texted me a link to a video of them doing the initial inspection - too clever! All-in-all a very positive encounter which I wasn't expecting.

"The men of letters at the court of Charles VII, or at that of Phillip the Good, never tire of inveighing against life and the age. The note of despair and profound dejection is predominately sounded not by ascetic monks, but by the court poets and chroniclers - laymen, living in aristocratic circles amid aristocratic ideas. Possessing only a slight intellectual and moral culture, being for the most part strangers to study and learning, and only a feebly religious temper, they were incapable...

20220906: Anticipated Consequences
In reference to the last episode called "I Told You So", I sent an email to my boss and his boss basically saying "I told you so" but I did it in very respectful language and kept it objective. Now, I have to await the anticipated consequences, which at this point, could go 50/50! :-)
Election Integrity
Election IntegrityPosted on September 7, 2022 by johnDear Friends,It seems to me, knowing an election is rigged, but hoping there will be enough votes to overwhelm the corruption… is a sub optimal strategy to get an optimal outcome. It will always fail, because those with the power to engage in systematic vote fraud, without consequence, will do what needs to be done. If you could rob banks without consequence, and you owed a thug a million dollars… what would you do? You would rob as many...
20220907: Immediate/Delayed Consequences
The consequences of our actions can sometimes be felt immediately but sometimes after much delay. Putting your hand on a hot stove will produce instant consequences. "Tanning" for years without sunscreen will probably produce cancerous consequences. But we are responsible for both sets of consequences.

20220909: Can You Keep A Secret?
My wife's birthday is this weekend and the kids arranged for a surprise small-plane flight around our house for her! It's been tough trying to come up with an excuse as to why we have to drive downtown (where the airport is) tomorrow morning, but I think I finally conned her into believing we are car-pooling and have to drop one of the cars off for our stay-cation trip which is also for her birthday (which she knows about).

20220912: Opposite Poles
When we think of the Earth rotating on its axis, we usually show the axis extending "out" of the Earth as a North and South Pole. We even continue this thought with magnets having an N and an S pole (even if it is bent into a "U" shape). In politics, we speak of polarization, in which we mean two ideologies are at "polar opposites" of each other. Unfortunately, we are seeing increased polarization in the U.S. (and the world) right now, this can lead to catastrophic results if there is no...

20220914: Having A Little Too Much Fun
I don't "suffer fools" (see S3E29 of my video podcast), but I do have fun with them; maybe a little too much fun. I sometimes feel a tad guilty as I have conversations/debates with them and I lead them down to utter logical destruction by their own hand. But then the feeling quickly goes away. :-)
Pathos
We do not believe in the shared, or common, "reality" - unless some "call to action" temporarily re-activates our credulity to serve some or other elite purpose. Half the time our rage and bluster is stirred up merely to entertain someone. Pathos is funny. But otherwise, everything we are "called" to do, or say, or think, is a set up. Social media and electronic technology cannot be used for any purpose that doesn't benefit those who control it. Truth is verified in person, by the witness of...

Go wild!
To alleviate the feeling that I am in exile from my Kingdom I look for the real in the unreal. Needless to say, I do not find it there. For many years, I believed that I was punishing myself for growing up and growing old. I believed that I fell out of reality into a land of shadows. This shadow world has a different story than the world I left. Is Ossian known hereabouts? He who fell in love with the Faery Princess, and married her, and went to live with her in the Faery land, became...

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14 NIV)“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.’” (John 14:6-7 NIV)“To the Jews who had believed...
The Innovation Of Hypocrisy
The Innovation Of Hypocrisy Dear Friends,It seems to me, throughout human history, the ultimate sin, discreditor and the greatest disgrace, was to be a hypocrite, now it is an honor. Hypocrisy is so common among the elite we don’t even notice it. Like when a sanctuary city that demands other states tolerate a tsunami of illegals… gets a single planeload of illegals, then calls in the national guard to oust them. That is hypocrisy writ large, yet is ignored by the media, lauded by the...

20220918: Standing
After winning the U.S. Open, Carlos Alcaraz was ranked "No.1" in the world for tennis. His "standing" is official and public; it's a very formal system of ranking that's easy to understand (there is some math involved however, not my strong suite). We have many ways in society to determine our "standing" such as financial health (credit report), employment (job title), community (good neighbor, scion, pillar), social (a "good egg"), religious (salt of the earth), and of course family (loved...

20220919: Status
Where do you stand in this world? What's your status in the various ways we measure ourselves; or what's your ranking? Even better, how's your standing with the Almighty? :-)We use different measurements and standards for defining "where we are" in relation to others and in the Universe, but ultimately, it comes down to a subjective feeling about yourself. Let the objective measurements inform you, but don't let them rule your life.

Blano's Semi-Nihilistic Rejoinder to NihilismIn honor of President Biden's discovery that the Trump-inspired "extreme MAGA philosophy" ... "it's like semi-fascism," I am proud to present Blano's answer to Jimmy Finp's extreme nihilistic philosophy. (See Post #33 – Blane Comics #23 – Nothing Escapes Nihilism.) ‘Bullied’ Is Such a Stupid Word. The World Has...
I read the story of the woman at the well, and I can just see Jesus looking at this woman. Worlds apart, not supposed to know one another at all, they are. But he looked into her eyes, knowing her past, knowing her sins, knowing she wrecked marriages and harmed others, and he reached out to her to save her. Why? What made God come down and rescue any of us when we had done wrong and offended Him so much? Why do it? I believe that God, in part, looked at her, had compassion, and understood her...

iPad drawingI had a good relationship with my nurses during my hospitalization. Many days I was in agony and pain that made me scream. But I enjoyed making jokes and having chatter with my nurses. I had a strong belief that I'll get better, and everybody gave me positive energy helping me smile and be bright. However, many times my grin and liveness didn't come out naturally. I often forced myself to smile and wished nobody had come into my room. But, whether it was natural or not, many...
The domestic violence gravy train
Vimala, a retired Indian university lecturer, looked forward to spending time with her son, a Sydney-based doctor, his wife, and newborn grandchild. But it quickly became apparent that things weren’t going well between her son and his wife. Twice during her brief visit, her daughter-in-law called the police alleging domestic violence over trivial arguments with her husband. On one occasion she decided she wanted beef for dinner and demanded her husband provide it. Vimala explains: “Her...

Protecting boys from sexploitation
Now here’s a funny thing. Take a look at this photo of the four people heading up Australia's Digital Platforms Regulators. The control of our county’s high tech online business is firmly in the hands of women. Not a skerrick of gender diversity to be seen. The cheerful long-haired blond is Julie Inman Grant, the powerful eSafety Commissioner whose 435 employees are beavering to keep our citizens safe online. The only problem is her cosy crew are devoting most of their efforts and $31m annual...

Democrats' "Voting Rights Act" is Anti-Democracy
To overcome political bias in boundary drawing, humanity should put district boundaries to democratic vote, not make politics less democratic by giving that power to judges like the U.S. Democratic Party wants to do. In Slate, Aaron Goldzimer and Nicholas Stephanopoulos wrote an article entitled “The Novel Strategy Blue States Can Use to Solve Partisan Gerrymandering by 2024.” In it, they advocate that U.S. states pass laws clearly tasking U.S. House district boundary drawers to prioritize...
20220826: Attention Span

Stopping Artificial Climate Change Requires...
When it comes to fixing human-caused climate change, humanity should focus on stopping our effects on the environment rather than trying to mess with the environment even more in the opposite direction through geo-engineering projects like carbon capture, aerosols, or space panels. We got ourselves into this mess because we had the hubris to assume that our engineering projects like fossil fuel power would not harm our ability to rely on the natural environment. We cannot know for sure that...

“So I started scratching myself and my scales began coming off all over the place. And then I scratched a little deeper and, instead of just scales coming off here and there, my whole skin started peeling off beautifully…In a minute or two I just stepped out of it.”This is from a short scene that struck me in CS Lewis’ “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” from the Narnia series. The perpetually irritating Eustace had turned into a dragon and Aslan has come to clean him of his abhorrent, scaly...

20220829: Moral Dilemma
My youngest is a senior in college and has just started the last two semesters of his time there. His tuition, room, and board are all essentially paid through scholarships, state funding, pre-pay (529 account), and his work as an R.A. I'm seriously considering maxing out whatever college loans I can in order to get the debt "forgiven" by the latest debacle going on in DC. The 529 money is refunded first (back to me), so I'd "borrow" that exact amount and apply it to his final two...
